I’ve been to this restaurant for lunch several times, and every experience has been very positive. The dish that won me over is undoubtedly the seafood risotto: spectacular. A perfect balance between the rice’s texture and the rich, delicate flavor of the fish, which tastes fresh and high-quality. On my other visits, I’ve always found well-prepared dishes, generous portions, and fresh ingredients. The service is courteous, quick, and attentive—ideal for an enjoyable lunch break without compromising on quality. The atmosphere is welcoming and well-kept, and the value for money is truly excellent. A go-to spot in Varese for anyone who wants a good meal. I’ll definitely be back, and after enjoying lunch here so much, I can’t wait to try it for dinner too and discover the rest of the menu. Compliments to the kitchen and the dining-room staff! Mari
On a shopping day, we went to Varese and I decided to eat just outside the city center to avoid parking problems. I found this restaurant and couldn't have chosen better. The place is lovely and the options are really appealing. We had a great lunch with two starters: Milanese-style artichokes with bagnacauda (worth the trip) and tartare of filet mignon with marinated yolk gel and mustard on gratinated marrow. Then, stuffed calamari with artichokes, potatoes, and sausage, and ossobuco gremolata with mashed potatoes. For dessert, a delicious catalana cream. With a fine bottle of Pinot Noir and mineral water, we spent €138 (cover charge €6...). Not exactly cheap, but the quality and quantity of the food and drinks justify the price paid. Very friendly service, coffee offered. The restaurant we like!
Excellent experience, a rarity for Varese in terms of generous portions and friendly service. Everything was delicious from appetizers to desserts, with off-menu dishes attentive to seasonality (Friday’s suggestion: appetizer, first and second courses based on asparagus). Prices are mid/high but appropriate for the offering! I will definitely return!
Beautiful place, both for the location and for the varied and very special menu. Fresh and delicious food. Well-prepared dishes. We had the pleasure of chatting with the chef, a young guy but passionate about his work, helpful, friendly, and he gave us some really good advice. For starters, they offered us a small bite of potato with saffron and homemade tuna sauce (their mayonnaise is also made by them). For pasta lovers who prefer it a bit al dente, I recommend the calamarata, and for desserts, you absolutely must try the dark chocolate mousse with cherry compote—you won't regret it.
A flawless evening: Beautiful, elegant, and clean venue, with an open kitchen. Precise service, very friendly but not at all intrusive. The owner, Roberto, combines professionalism and charm perfectly. The chef's starters and the antipasti are excellent. Even the iconic ossobuco risotto did not disappoint. To conclude, the desserts are very well balanced in flavor and many are visually stunning. The bill is fair given the high quality of the ingredients and their preparation. Absolutely deserved five stars.

We came for dinner in the evening attracted by the good reviews and beautiful photos of the ossobuco risotto. Expectations were fully met, the two flavors complemented each other perfectly and in a balanced way. Top quality/price ratio!
OSSOBUCO never goes wrong!… most of the times I’m in Varese, I stop for lunch during work breaks, and on all occasions, I’ve found a good tasting menu for creativity and quality, with balanced hospitality. Try it to believe!
Elegant yet informal restaurant, the perfect balance for a romantic evening or laughter with friends. Friendly and attentive service, not intrusive and very welcoming. Impeccable food, excellent product quality, thoughtfully paired dishes that work very well. Fair price/quality ratio for the type of venue, I recommend it and we will definitely return. Keep it up! (P.S. just add a wardrobe for the jackets)
As a food photographer with various editorial publications, I think the photo of the "scarpetta" is the best possible review. I stopped by by chance with a client, convinced to order only a quick dish... but even from the menu, I understood I needed to try others as well. Excellent welcome, attentive service, and impeccable ambiance. I will return soon, this time to enjoy it at leisure — it really deserves a visit! P.S. The desserts are also a temptation for the palate and the eyes...

I think it's one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, revisited Italian cuisine in a gourmet style. Explosive yet balanced flavors, pleasant plating. Excellent wine list, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Well done!
